Kris Jiachen Liu is a multidisciplinary designer working at the intersection of architecture, jewelry, and visual systems. With a background in advanced architectural design from Columbia GSAPP and a B.Arch from Pratt Institute, his work explores how form, material, and perception can create poetic tension across disciplines and scales.

Kris’s practice balances spatial strategy with symbolic expression—ranging from large-scale urban design to wearable sculptures and curated visual narratives. His projects have spanned public installations, fashion show production, branding direction, and conceptual jewelry, often involving a blend of digital prototyping, cross-cultural aesthetics, and tactile storytelling.

He is the founder of UnderKurrent, a creative platform exploring the boundaries between object, body, and identity. His work has been featured in platforms like New York Fashion Week, Jim Thompson Farm Artist Residency, and BoldJourney, and has collaborated with brands, boutiques, and curators across the US and China.
